Margins

Margin comments store the text, the chosen alias—or a randomly assigned Salticidae genus when the field is left blank—the date, and a salted hash of the IP address. That hash is only used to enforce limits and cannot be used to recover the IP. Publishing a comment requires invisible Cloudflare Turnstile verification (see Cloudflare). Comments from the Spanish and English editions live together in the same thread.

The Wall

Each contribution stores the inserted and deleted text, the date, a session hash, and the hashed IP. The complete history is kept to reconstruct any state of the Wall and revert vandalism; it is not identifiable. The Spanish and English editions display and edit the same Wall.

The technical eu_muro cookie keeps an anonymous session for 12 hours after Turnstile verification. It does not track you and, because it is strictly necessary for writing, does not require consent.

Cloudflare

This site uses Cloudflare Turnstile in invisible mode. Cloudflare processes verification data according to its Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

The site passes through Cloudflare's network, which acts as a proxy and terminates the TLS connection.

Analytics and contact

There are no analytics or trackers.

The contact form emails your name, address, and message to the site's mailbox and keeps a hash of your IP for 48 hours to limit submissions.
